Dr. David J. Hoffman

Dr. David J. Hoffman is a filmmaker, director, writer, and acting coach who brings Christian faith and a deep interest in the human experience to the screen. As founder of TrenDee Productions Studios, he creates stories that entertain, uplift, and invite audiences to consider the choices that shape their lives.

His creative journey began with a camcorder at age 11. Today, his work ranges from biblical epics to contemporary drama and animation, bringing together independent production and emerging filmmaking technology.

His films include Moses: Born of Water and Fire, Joseph: A Feared Master from Birth, and Just Weight. Across his work, themes of faith, family, justice, and redemption connect the spectacle of a larger story with the intimate struggles of its characters.

Beyond directing, Hoffman mentors performers and aspiring creators, helping them develop their craft and confidence. He also serves as CEO of Eternal Friends Network and teaches practical approaches to filmmaking through AI Filmmaking 101.
